渡邊琢磨 aka COMBOPIANO
１９７５年生まれ、宮城県仙台市出身。
高校卒業後、米国へ留学、作曲を学ぶ。
帰国後、青柳拓次（リトルクリーチャーズ／KAMAAINA）が主宰するレーベル、SIGN OFF（MIDI CREATIVE)からアルバム”SALBLAKEY"をリリース、コンボピアノとしての活動が始動する。
NYに渡り、アストル ピアソラなどのプロデューサーとして知られる、キップ・ハンラハンとのコラボレーションによるアルバムを次々とリリース、 注目を集める。
（イギリスの音楽専門誌『WIRE』などに取り上げられる）。
また、内田也哉子、鈴木正人(Little Creatures)と「SIGHBOAT」というバンドをスタートさせる。
CM、映画、映像作品、舞台音楽、等、多岐に渡って手掛ける。
海外のアーティストからも高く評価され、共演、協同プロジェクトのオファーも多い。
共演した海外のアーティスト：キップ・ハンラハン、ジョナス・メカス、ジョン・マッケンタイア、ブランドン・ロス、デヴィッド・シルヴィアン 他。
２００７年、デヴィッド シルヴィアンのワールドツアー（ヨーロッパ、アジア、日本、２８カ国）にピアニストとして参加した。
２００８年、初の個人名義アルバム、渡邊琢磨「冷たい夢、明るい休息」をリリース。
同年、アルタードステイツ、UA等で活躍する鬼才ギタリスト・内橋和久と、BOREDOMS・V∞REDOMS、PARA、ウリチパン郡の俊英ドラマー・千住宗臣、渡邊琢磨によるトリオ編成で、コンボピアノ再始動。
Takuma Watanabe (Born in Japan, 1975):
A producer, a composer, a keyboard/piano player , Takuma・Watanabe has an distinguished level of ability to assemble remarkable musicians
And apply their talents to his own projects. These projects is called
"COMBOPIANO" . "COMBOPIANO " is his musical ideas.
Takuma Watanabe started out as a pianist, under influence of what he listened to, and his parents ; father as a composer/pianist ( jazz/classical), mother as a writer. After coming back from States for his study of composition,Takuma started his "COMBOPIANO " with local musicians in Tokyo, and released its first album called " Sal Blakey " (1997).
1999, he started his own label with EWE inc.
The label is called "Sycamore Records" and released its first one "another rumor" with the ideological contribution, and influence from Kip Hanrahan (american clave), which has been lasting up to now, as a friendship. Since then, he has been working with the artists of States ; Joan La Barbara, Carmen Lundy, Jonas Mekas, Kip Hanrahan, John McEntire, Emmett Kelly, Mark Bothwick, Steve Swallow, Fernando Saunders, Pedro Martinez, Robby Ameen, Richie Flores, Teddy Jefferson, and David Sylvian etc.
2007, he started working intensely as band basis.
The musicians in the band are : Kazuhiza Uchihashi (g), Muneomi Senju (ds from Boredoms) and Takuma Watanabe (piano).
He is also writing music for films, AND CM.
Takuma is invited to David Sylvian's Would Tour of 2007, "The World Is Everything ", as a pianist.
